What happens when a washer becomes unbalanced…
I think my washer is angry at me. I don’t know what I could’ve done to upset it. I haven’t done any more laundry than usual. It just keeps dancing to the side now when I run a load of laundry.
I noticed this happening about a month after we moved in. Before then it worked just fine. Then all of a sudden, it started going off balance each time I did a load of laundry. My solution? Two pieces of ripped cardboard under the front leg that was off balance. Result? Perfection.
Until now.
It’s been seven months since this first happened. Seven months. And now the washer seems to have decided that the cardboard pieces don’t work anymore. In my naive mind I thought, “Perhaps it needs a new wedge.” So my fiance and I got a fresh new cardboard wedge, same as last time, and placed it under the leg.
Apparently the washer is having none of this.
I can’t figure out why it isn’t working this time. If it want’s attention, it’s got it! Problem is, I don’t speak Washingmachinese.
Oh well… maybe the washer just wants a little recreation time.
